January 9, I did not realize that the Book of Nehemiah is a handbook Preaching for Revitalization book leading a revitalization project, speaking to every revitalization issue including prayer, vision, brokenness, confession of sin, organizational leadership, spiritual leadership, communication, opposition, obstacles, and renewal.

The book is a short read and serves as an excellent starting point for pastors and the elders to work through together to identify and correct the problems in their declining church.
